oil comin outta my drivers side front axle
ive got oil comin out of my drivers side front axle. would this be the inner seal or outter? and how hard is it to replace? im not macanic but i norm work on my own truck and have 95% of the tools....
is this a one man job, and if so how many hours?

I believe that would probably be the inner seal leaking, and it is a job to replace. Do you have access to a shop manual for your truck? Read up on the amount of work, and then decide if you want to do it yourself, or have a shop do it.
That would be a good time to take a look at your bearings, ball joints, and u-joints, since you will have most of the front end apart.

The seal job used to be about the best deal going at the dealer, $125 per side. Might want to get an estimate first.

Being curious about your problem, I checked the url suggested by infidel. It did not work for me. Seems you can get there though by using http://dieselpowerman.tripod.com/ and clicking on AxleTech on the left. I'd say it will take you more than a couple hours to get this seal replaced. Good luck.
