No Power? Low Boost?
No Power? Low Boost?
Ok Guy's here's the story I did a little work on the truck and power washed the engine in areas that were grimy (around the timing case ) anyway I drove to work the next day and I was way down on power and the pyro was telling me that Iwas running very hot with very little effort and smoke seemed above normal. I have been planning on getting a boost gauge but don't have one as yet. I checked and cleaned the filter and visually inspected the intercooler rubbers and the boost line to the waste gate and all seems Ok,any ideas I'm missing my power already

Check all of your electrical plugs. Maybe water inside one of them. Clean with electrical cleaner or starting fluid (ether) and pack with dia-electric grease.
You can try cleaning your map sensor (Boost sensor) I have a Amzoil filter which is similar to the K&N in that you inpregnate it with oil. too much oil in the filter and it will get drawn in by the turbo and a coating will cover your sensor. No codes will appear; I didn't clean mine I bought a new one and it fixed the problem.
