Re:new part numbers?

Hi royB I found all my numbers air/fuel/oil, today at GenosGarage.com His site will give you all the proper fleetguard #s. I recieved the same number for my fuel filter, but I have a 98 12v so double check that one for sure. Good luck. Sparky

Re:new part numbers?

Roy, I have the same year truck as you and I think the numbers I use are LF 3894 oil filter, FS 19579 on the fuel and dont know about the air because I have a K&N but Geno's site has the numbers and they show that number on the fuel filter is for a 97 to 99...

No need to go to Geno's for part numbers.

This is sitting right here waiting for you.
From our Tech Facts section at the top of the page:
What are the part numbers for most commonly used items on my truck?

I printed the page and keep it in my service manual. ;D

Re:new part numbers?

I had looked them up before in the tech section, and looked at the list on the Genos website, but forgot to take them with me. The numbers listed are the ones that the Cummins shop gave me. Thought maybe they were new numbers but it looks like they just got it wrong.

thanks agian

Re:new part numbers?

What a difference a day (ot two) makes... called the Cummins shop this morning, told him I thought I might have the wrong filters, he said let me see what I come up with. He came up with the same ones listed here in the FAQ and on Genos', guess I got the trainee, or it was a late night Friday for the guy.

Just wanted to update the thread to confirm the correct numbers.

thanks
