Did you 'crack' the injectors?

It may be a dumb question but hey at least you will get bumped!!!

Yes, but seeing how the entire fuel system was apart I think there is still to much air in the system, Or it could be the injection pump timing.

You need to bump the started multiple times without turning over the engine, each time should let you LP run for 25 seconds.

I can usually tell a difference in the LP sound when she is finally pushing diesel.

Then crack at least 3 Injectors and she should fire off.

Your pump timing should not be able to be off unless you put the wrong number Key in, or you got your front geartrain n wrong.

We got the problem figured out, When I got the engine it was set to TDC but it was on the exhaust stroke instead of the intake stroke, So the injection pump timing was 180* off. Pulling the rad, intercooler & cover off to reset the timing gear for the IP

Not sure just how many, but there are multiple ones, your pump will have the key number on it somewhere. They say in the rebuilt pump instructions to make sure the number on the key matches the number on the pump.

well we thought that was the problim & after checking it that is not what it was, But I do think we got it figured out, It has a CR head on it, So the connector/crossover tubes were not connecting with the injectors & no fuel was getting in to the engine. So I got ahold of some custome crossover tubes made by Monster Mike that should be here today & finaly get this thing on the road.
