Interior Heating

I have an 03, 2500, 4x4, 5.9 Cummins, 6 sp. My problem is no heat at my feet. I have heat coming out the vents, and defroster vents. When I turn the **** for feet, it defaults to defrosters.

Plus, after 3 thermostat changes, it warms up real slow. It takes 20 miles or more to reach 140 degrees. Any ideas guys for either of these 2 problems?

Thanks in advance:
Larry

Normal on the heat build up........you may have a defective door in respect to the direction of air flow.

Plug the truck in a couple of hours before leaving and install a winter front. My truck can almost reach 180*f in 7 miles with temperatures in the 20's.

You have a Mode Door that isn't working properly. It is quite burried in the HVAC unit, under the dash. IIRC, it is one where the refrigerant needs to come out as well as the whole HVAC. Someone here will correct me if I'm wrong.

And yeah, slow to warm. I can drive 7 miles in 75* temp before it hits 185*.
