In the last two days my brake lights have stopped working. I few days ago I was towing a trailer and noticed that the brake lights on the truck stayed on even with the foot off of the pedal. Now I have no brake lights on the truck or on a trailer, The third light does work? I checked all of the fuses, the switch works ( third light comes on), I cut the trailer plug off in the back because it was corroded. I redid all of the wiring going into the plug in the bed. I have looked all over to and problems and have not found any. Any idea’s???

 

I am wondering if it could be the multi function switch? From the wiring diagram it looks like they run it to it. Hard believe that the wires run up to the steering wheel and back?
