Can be replaced now. Look at Geno's for the replacement.

 

That was my first thought also, no such luck as having a pump relay in the fuse/relay box...too logical of a place I guess.

 

Thank you, looked up Geno's and found the FASS DDRP-04 FUEL LIFT PUMP is the cheapest & easiest, anyone had problems with this unit?

 

If you find that the lift pump is the issue,Genos carries a direct replacement for the cannister mounted pump that is cost effective. I have attached the link. This would be the easiest to install as it is a one for one replacement.

Just changed the transfer pump but still get codes: P0628 & P0633.
Took it for a test drive without problems. Do you have to perform a reset or is there still trouble? Somewhere I saw a list of codes but can't find them now, anyone have the link to the page with the error codes?

P0628 = Fuel Pump Relay Circuit Low, or Fuel Lift Pump Control Circuit Low

P0633 = SKIM Key Not Programmed in PCM

You could take the truck to a local parts store (AutoZone) and have the codes cleared with one of their code readers.

 

You will need to drive it for a while (key on/off cycles) without problems for the codes to clear on their own or take it in and have them cleared.

Cleared the P0628 at O'Reilly's, but the P0633 didn't show on their scan tool.
Anyone know what "P0633 SKIM Secret Key Not Entered" means?

 

A "skim key" msg is displayed when an after market key that is not encoded is used to try to start the vehicle.
