Headlights work/won't work

I've got limited time so any suggestions would be helpful.

I turn on my parking lights and all accessory light come on. When I turn on my headlights, the low beams come on and the high beams work, but the dash lights, and all running lights and taillights go off.

Everything was working well and then POOF, they go out. I don't have any other modifications or lights hooke up. Everything is stock but I'm at a loss.

Again, parking light switch in parking lamp mode, all lights come on. Switch to headlights and everything goes out except the headlights. It's very difficult to drive with the parking lights on and pulling the high beams, especially when it's a manual.

Be careful spraying cleaners into a bad switch!! When my 94's went out, I tried cleaning it out and it promptly led to a small dash fire!! Luckily I had the brains to unplug it, burn my fingers, and get it thrown out the window before it hurt anything important. Just my thoughts, but it's not worth it. Replace the switch and get it over with.
