fuse box screwed up

Today i go to warm up my truck, 2000 ram 1500 gasser, and i smell something funny and i just ignored it and let it warm up. Well i come back outside and notice my dome lamps are on but dim and the smell got stronger. I shut off the truck and the lamps were still on so i pulled every fuse i could under the hood and in the cab and none shut it off. I looked around for a bit and noticed the wires to my fuse box were all fried somehow. I cant figure out how this happened because i have no add ons on the truck as far as electronics go..any ideas? work in less than an hour.

Thanks

Don't think ought to drive unit. Wiring kepps getting worse until fire erupts and that is nasty. The more it fries, the more you fix.

Trace fried wire and find what it powers. Good chance something has chafed and shorted a wire to ground. Look at clamps holding cables.
