fueling problem

i just installed a fass 95/150, everything seems to be working fine except i cant get my truck to fire. no puffing...nothing, fuel right up to the cp3. the rail pressure gauge doesnt read at all. the injector nozzles were also done at the same time. any ideas/suggestions?

delivery tubes

check the water/fuel seperator canister to make sure the fass is getting fuel to there, then see if it's getting to the delivery tubes that run through the head, into the injectors. if you are getting fuel to the tubes you may have over tightened the tubes. 35-38ft/lb is all they need. over tighting them can mushroom the head that goes into the injector and send all your fuel to return.

p.s. been down that road before

heh, i certainly hope thats not the issue. i spoke with "john" from a diesel shop that i cant remember off the top of my head. he was saying the fca is what a guy should look at first. i had pulled the fca last night as my thinking lead me to the rail not pressuing up and the only thing that a guy can do to change taht is to replace the fca or the pump. i really dont think the tubes were over torqued, we didnt put a torque wrench on it but tightened to just slightly past hand tight.

so im going to pick up a new fca tonight and put it in to see what happens.

i do hear the injectors ticking away so thats a good sign on that end...

thank you for your insight, if the fca doesnt work then ill definitely look at the injector tubes.
