FASS install Northern Virginia

I am running into problem after problem getting this FASS on my 03. I cannot get the supply line off the tank, pushing the tabs does nothing. Trying to make a long bed bracket work on a short bed truck is also a joy.

Getting close to desperate since I need this heifer running by Monday. If anyone could lend me a hand this weekend I would be eternally grateful. I am in South Riding outside of Chantilly.

Way toi go DZ!

The blue tabs push it and you pull the connector off. They can be a pain.

HUGE thanks to Mike for helping me on this cold windy morning. As it turns out, my tank sits closer to the underside of the bed than any picture I've seen, or on his own 03. It took some grunting, but we got the line off. The rest of the install went pretty easy, and the truck runs like a charm.

Again, many thanks for brunting the cold with me this morning Mike. Enjoy the DieselPower! additive.

Glad to hear it worked out for ya. I just went through that yesterday - took me 30min to get it off (I could only get 1 hand in - try pushing both tabs and pulling at the same time...)

No problem Dan. It was cold as heck out there though. Plus I was a little scared to head back out that way after my "incident" yesterday but I sucked it up and made my way out there to help a diesel brother in need..

I will enjoy the DieselPower. It tastes pretty good!!

....sorta off track here, but did you use the QD or clamp the line right to the nozzle from the tank?
