Question Dead KDP - Can't torque crank pulley bolts!

...finally! Took me 7 hours (the crank seal really kicked my rear - I destroyed the new seal trying to get it on using the Cummins supplied starter - I had to put the old one back on using a rolled up plastic sleeve - hope it doesn't leak!)

Question! How do I torque the crank pulley bolts without a barring tool to hold the engine!? I'm fully reassembled, but don't want to drive without tightening those last 4 bolts! Please respond ASAP, I need to be up and running this morning!

If you have a manual trans, put the truck in 5th. Auto trans just jam a pry bar or a big screwdriver in where the barring tool goes.

Got it!

....I reversed the old serpentine belt and made a "strap wrench" out of it, worked pretty slick....

- no leaks from the re-used crank seal - yet......

those are little bolts and do not need a lot of torq.! Just give them a rap with a hammor on the end of your wrench.
