I was driving to school to day and all of a sudden the abs, and brake light came on. Then all the gauges stopped working and it said no bus, over head said CCD. Well the gauges started working alittle while later but check engine light still on. Checked codes: P 1687, 1693, 1694. What is the proplem.

There's a list of codes up thar in the "tech facts" section.

They are all no communication codes.

Check the connections on both the ECM (engine mounted) and PCM (firewall, passenger side).

Make sure they are clean and dry and well connected.

It wasn't raining, or hit a big puddle, or just got done washing the truck did you?

No, it has been dry hear for days. Not sure why it did it.

I went to Auto value and had the codes read. It only showed one code, 1698, but it was there twice. They cleared the codes and I drove home fine. When I got home I got some grease and put ample amount on all fittings. They all looked clean and dry. Well afterwards I turned the key on and it throw the same codes again. It is bone dry here. I have no idea what the problem could be Need help.
