Ok, so I finally got the nerve to tear into the passenger side quad door. The door is stuck shut. I am having to take the panel off with the door shut. I see one cable running to the handle to the inside with the torx screw but that is it. I think the bottom latch is what is holding the door. What do I need to do to get the door open now. I am starting to go mad cause I can't figure it out. I searched the forum, but to no avail. All help is appreciated.

 

There is a metal rod that should attach to the handle with a little clip and attaches to the latch at the bottom. Most likely, that rod has come loose from the clip at the handle and is laying in there at a funny angle. Reach in there and pull up on the rod. That will open the bottom latch and you should be able to open the door and get a better look. Then reattach the rod to the metal clip with the right amount of tension so that when you pull the handle, it easily pops the latch open. Good Luck.

 

Worked perfectly. Now, just have to wait till I can get to the auto parts store to get some silicone so I can stick the plastic clips back in and get a tool to get them out. I'll post some pictures when I get the stuff to put it back together so everyone that hasn't torn into it this far will know what they are doing.
