Can this torque spec be right,,,,crank
 
The manual say's 30#'s,,,plus an additional 60* for the dampner to crank bolt's. That just doesn't seem tight enough. My torque wrench clicked as the motor was coming up on the compression stroke. Just seems too loose. What do you guy's think. Is that a correct spec. Thank's.

Yes, that additional 60 deg makes a big difference in the torque.

FWIW, My Cummins re-con manual says 92 Lb/Ft.

Nothing about torque/rotate.

D'oh, unless the common rail Cummins might take a different torque........

What manual are you using?

It's out of the factory service manual for an 04.
