My truck is a 2000 4x4 6 speed. Being that I have the 6 speed, do I have the HO? And if so, does it have the larger shaft? I'm trying to order a clutch but they only list NV5600 clutches for the 2001+ models. Any help would be appreciated.

 

You dont have a HO - the HO first appeared in 2001.

You have the SO with the optional 6 speed. The Input Shaft with the 1-3/8" 10 spline appeared after Aug 99:

I just read the link again - note this statement:



"for 2001, the NV-5600 has a 1 3/8" 10 spline input shaft instead the 1 1/4" 12 spline shaft used in prior years."

Depends on which manufacturer you are looking at - try Southbend Clutch or Luk Clutch

 

the small shaft 5600 uses the same clutch as the 5spds.

 

Yup, just put a Con OFE in with the upgrade flywheel, no problem.
