...Bulletproof. I'm just glad you entered the disclaimer "I" believe. Granted the "mopar" ball joints may or may not be the god all end all ball joint, but I have taken out three sets of Moogs that were installed at another shop that had steering wander issues after the work was performed. At least with the mopars the truck steered correctly. I thought maybe it was an install error, but my trolling of this site has revealed a few similar occasions.

Go with the Dynatrac They are serviceable and use a little JB weld when you slip it in in and let it cure. 600$ for upper and lower sets and never have to pull them again. Call Dynatrac and ask for Dan. Best money I have spent and they stand behind their products.

I'm not taking sides here but my '03 had some tire wear issues and some wandering back in '04 (it was already over the 100k mark) so I went with Monroe Reflex shocks and cheapo Moog balljoints.....that was 6 yrs ago and the truck now has close to 300k on it with the same shocks and balljoints with only a slight wandering on the road. Some have good luck with one brand while others will swear against it forever. I think my next upgrade will be the steering setup and see what that does. 300k on crap factory steering....something has to be close to wearing out.

If you do a search on here, you'll find a few days' reading of how Moog ball joints have fallen badly out of favor on 3rd gen trucks, due to being too tight and causing wandering in dozens of cases. Yes there are some very expensive and durable "specialty" ball joints available, but for a jobber replacement everyone seems happy lately with XRF products.
