My power steering keeps locking up on me, ill go from rev to drive and it will lock up, it did it once right after i got it but i took it in and they replaced the pump and said that there was a tooth broken, now with my edge and high ram im kinda not wanting to take it back unless something is really wrong.

Remove the Edge and take it to the dealer. When the first pump failed it nearly always will puke metal into the actuator valve in the steering box. That will cause the system to start randomly locking up when the metal bridges two valve orifices and keeps them from actuating, and means that both the new pump and the steering box will need replacement. The hoses and cooler must also be flushed before installation of the new components.

This is a very serious situation and if they give you any hesitancy of doing it right you need to call your State's consumer affairs office and call and write to Dodge's customer service folks directly.

Do not drive the truck in this condition. This is a very dangerous situation and can actually cause the power steering to go full power in one lock or the other (direction) unexpectedly, wrench the wheel out of your hand, and could lead to a serious accident.

Tell them that your gauge failed and it has been sent in for repair. Or any other plausable thing you can think of. Shouldn't be an issue. Just be sure to remove all velcro and anyother traces of your Edge.
