Alternator not charging, truck Dead on Road

1999 24v Auto 4x4
I have been having issues with the electrical lately. Its starts off with a parasitic battery drain thats fixed, Then the voltmeter starts flucuating and slow cranking. Then the drivers side battery boiled over. replaced that, then the voltmeter read low about 11 volts. Now the truck is dead on the read with no electrical power what so ever. voltmeter was reading lower and lower till the truck jsut shut-off. I didnt quite make it home.

So is the pcm the voltage regulator or is there one somewhere else. Whats the easiest way to test the alternator. Or what do you guys all think.

Most often when one battery fails it takes the other with it.
The old one might now be killing your new one.
Try it with just the one new battery and see what happens.
