I was driving a couple of weeks ago, and my 99 ram 3500 24v died. No restart ADS relay buzzing check engine light came on, checked for codes but could not talk to PCM until I took out ADS relay and bypassed it, replaced vp44 and installed transfer pump conversion kit, still have to bypass relay to get it to run. Any ideas? Truck has 308,000 on it.

 

Last one I did like that was the PCM. NOT the high dollar cummins ECM, but the one mounted on the firewall. Could be a wiring problem though, like a poor ground as well.
