Hi first time on and i have problem. 2500 CUMMINS 4X4 the abs light came on after fitting new pads to the front,i have checked the speed sensors and cleand out any crap, my haynes manual refers to RWAL and grounding out the connector and the flashing light will give you fault codes.But i beleave my truck has 4 Wheel abs, and the manual has nothing about fault codes and reseting the abs light. I have a Hypertech 111 and it came up with 2 codes one was heater relay. but the other was P1693 and not in the manual. I have cleared the codes and they have not returned.But the ABS will not go out.any help would be great Dave.

 

Make sure your fluid level is okay and go for a ride. After a pad change, my light came on as soon as I pressed the pedal but went away about 2 miles down the road.
