I have a 99 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 Diesel that turns over but wont crank? Fuel or electrical? Anybody know what it could be?

 

Uhh.... could be either!





More than likely though it is fuel or fuel system related. Disconnect the feed line to the VP44 Injection Pump and turn your key to the run position, but do not crank. You should hear your lift pump buzz a little and fuel should pour out.

If you have fuel the problem is higher up the food chain. Try that and let us know what you get......
