93 diesel fuel pump

Truck didn't respond well when accelerating for a couple of days. Started fine. Died completely Thurs. while going about 25 mph. Replaced booster pump. Wouldn't start until i bled injector lines. Then started while bleeding. But wouldn't start otherwise. Replaced fuel filter. Same thing. Could i be losing fuel back into the tank??? Need any help i can get.

Somewhere I think I read about an air leek in a rubber section of the fuel lines. IOf not maybe a rust thru somewhere on the fuel lines. I'd start looking for a leek or worn thru spot on the lines first then go from there.

Good idea. Didn't see a lead back to tank, but will dig into the lines deeper. Just took the new pump off and it seems to be holding pressure
