4 codes and not shifting ???

4 codes and not shifting ???
hi
my trans has stoped shifting for the most part .
1998 12v 47re truck in my signature
starts out in wrong gear and does not go to lockup or o.d.

i have installed a mystery switch recently and wonder if this has caused a problem someware ?
i left the relay in and installed a 33 o h m resistor to ground .
read it here someware ?
was working perfectly for a few days and suddenly feels like a limp mode of some sort ?
i am fairely certian it is an electrical prob as trans did shift perfect with no sliping till last night , no funney noises ect .
what is my most likely prob ?

hi
why undo mystery switch ?
it is simply a way to ground the wire to cause convertor to lock up .
just turning it off puts the system back to stock !
who has done there switch the same as mine ?
i d not think the pcm is sending he signal o lock convertor ?
all connections are good which puts it in stock mode with switch off !
what are the codes telling me is most likely prob ???

Could be governor pressure solenoid. I had one go on my 2001, truck started out in 2nd gear. It would run fine after that, even down shift, but refused to start in 1st.

well i have corrected the prob for now by simply eraseing the codes ,not sure what caused them yet , no codes after a short drive ?
trany back to working perfect for now .
i have installed a preasure switch to disingauge the lock up even when switch is on , so if you forget to turn it off when slowing down below 28 mph it automaticaly disingauges lock up !
no more bucking when coming to a stop , and if you have to slow down suddenly and dont have time to switch it off it is automaticly done for you!
so i can switch it on at a stop and it automaticaly locks at 28 mph , me like !!
when it warms up a bit here i am going to drop it to 24 mph and test .
