2000CTD Starter Solenoid Fuse Randomly blows??

The starter solenoid fuse in the underhood panel blew about a week and a half ago. Replaced it and thought nothing about it. Now it keeps popping fuses randomly and it's becoming a real pain. I tried a 25A out of curiosity and it popped that one too... solenoid sticking??? Anyone have this problem

2000 Ram CTD, five speed.

I had the same problem last week. The starter solenoid contacts were worn out and had to be replaced. A local generator shop replaced them for $35 dollars. Here is a link to where you can buy oversized contacts and do it yourself. http://www.fostertruck.com/dodge/default.htm

Don't buy a new starter until you try this.

Definitely go with the Foster contacts. In my experience they last forever, and the cost is way less than the local shop will charge for a rebuild.
