1995 47RH Help!!
Anyone have any problems with the transgo TFOD Shift kit for the 47RH?? It keeps what seems to be shifting in and out of OD during Decel only. Seems to be fine any other time. any ideas???

When I installed a Transgo 47RE shift kit in my '98, it basically sounded the death knell for that poor tranny.
I cured the OD and TC "hunting" by installing a 3-position switch to control those functions manually.

It sounds like it might be a problem with the TPS (throttle position sensor). I had to replace the one on my '95 to fix a lockup problem. Try doing a "search" for TPS and I am sure you will get lots of information to help you check the TPS and the OD problem.

Thought about installing a lockup switch. I'm not sure. It seems like the 1-2 and 2-3 shifts are kinda mushy if you know what I mean. this is the first AUTO CTD that I have owned. All others were manuals. Kinda wish that this had a stick in it. How do your shifts feel?? 1-2 & 2-3 compared to 3-4 and lockup??
