uh oh I lost another one of those [censored] poodle swirl shafts again. Its tough getting a psd over 45 psi of boost and having the darn intercooler stay together...let alone a few of them gaskets. ;D :P

certainly does howl more as opposed to the barking.

Did you try stuffing a weiner dog into the intercooler boots? That oughtta seal some of the leaks.

HEY KLONE, you mentioned that the stroker owners arent as enthused, about technical stuff probably because they dont really know alot about diesels. and that would explain why they even bought a stroker !!!!!!!! makes sense to me! most people i talk to buys the ford because it has the four door and they are big trucks. somthing about driving around in a tall truck and it making one feel like it adds a couple of inches on the twig and berries

Re:Yooooo Hooooo! Mr. Klone!!!!

This is a funny thread, i finally read it.

I think the Big Woof is a better name then "The Van" turbo. The only reason it has that name is because it's off a Ford Van. But man does it work.

As for reaching for the Propane, tuning on a ford is MUCH different then a Dodge. With a Dodge, the more black smoke, the more power, not quite as true with the Ford.

Re:Yooooo Hooooo! Mr. Klone!!!!

The "Big Woof" turbo does deserve its share of ribbing, but only because of its name and not for its operation. For the mods that I have on my truck it did a very good job of reducing EGT's (200+ drop) and gave me some more boost. So far no problems.

TxDieselKid, I have heard some good reviews about The Van, but have not had a chance to drive a truck with one on...at least not yet. Wonder how that would work in twin form?? ;D

To me it seems like over the past year the aftermarket is starting to open up more to the PSD's. I am not sure if the initial cost of of entering the PDS aftermarket was to high or what the deal was. I just like the fact that I have choices of turbos, intercoolers, injectors and such instead of chip A that is shiney or chip B that is really shiney.

JHUTCH...if I had any more inches on my twig and berries I would be in a wheelchair. ;D

Woof Woof.
