White
One of the biggest reasons white colored trucks/vehicles always look a little better is......Ever scratch a new darker colored vehicle. The clear coats will look white when sanded or scratched.
Normally this general rule of thumb exists
"The lighter the color, the more in hides stuff, scratches, swirl marks, poor body work, orange peel, yada yada yada. But, the downside is the paint is usually twice as hard to match, should you have a small fender bender, blending is almost always needed on light colored vehicles" Just remember White is not white, there are all kinds of shades of white. )whiter, bluer, yellower.
The darker the vehicle the more in shows everything, scratches, chips, swirl marks, orange peel, poor body work. But, you should never have a problem matching the paint... Black is Black, unless there is some metallic in the black paint.

Ironic, but white is the easiest to keep clean. People's eyes tend to automatically change one shade of white to another, so even a dusty white car still looks "clean".
My truck is red, and if I could choose any color instead (I don't care for the red so much, but it's growing on me) I would FIRST choose white, then Patriot blue.
The Patriot blue is my favorite blue of all time.

OH YEA White, I have had dark green, champain, burgandy, pueter, dark blue and even brown. I always wanted a white truck. So I got one. I like the way it looks clean and dirty. Water spots, not. Its cool in the summer to, mostly I like it cause I dont need to camo it up for the late season mule deer hunt, everything is covered in snow around here, uh ha. I have the full diamond plate - running boards and rear mude flaps. I think it looks mule like! Alcoha's might be next.
