What would be the fair value of a 2003 Dodge quad cab lwb 4x4 dually? It has a 6spd with 4.10 gears 115,000 miles, SPS 62 turbo, 5 in exhaust w/muffler, Glacier 392 pump, Van Aaken 3.2, Quad Xzillaraider II 100 hp, boost & egt guages, power windows, mirrors, doors, locks, cruise cntrl, towing pkg, gooseneck hitch. Tires have 15k left. Clutch is good. Body is clean and straight. What price would you ask if you were selling to an individual? I'm thinking somewhere between 16-18K. Thanks Bruce.

 

I would start with Kbb.com's private party values, perhaps skewed just a little up and start there. Truley, it's worth what someone else will pay for it.

Unfortunetly, the modifications will not add any value to the truck at resale time, and some folks don't understand that. Not far from me, a really shiny white Quad Cab '99 4wd CTD was put out in front for sale. Being the interested type, I stopped and looked at this truck--with 205k on it. Its an automatic, 24V, with a long list of modifications, and a price of $14,500!!!

That was three months ago... guess where it's still sitting...
