Have an '85 BMW turbo diesel for my d.d. 32 mpg in town and
38-40 hwy. Has been a great car; very comfy for road trips.
Hate to sell it but need to reduce the fleet, so will be putting it
up for sale along with a pickup and English bike.

Ive had tomany work cars to mention. I usaly find an old junker for a few hundred bucks drive it for a year or so then sell it and find anouther. A year and a half ago my mom was gona take her car to the junk yard and hope they would take it. It was a 93 Plymoth Sundance with only a little over 100K on it. It had been in Colorado back roads its entire life so it was beond shot. I drove it for abought a year. Never did check the milage but it was around 30-35MPG. It got so bad and ran so horobly that I finaly drove it to the junk yard last fall where it still sits today. Bought a 91 2wd reg cab short box S10 with a 5 speed and a 2.8. paid $700 for it last fall the thing only had 112,000 on it and got 25+ MPG. Sold it a few weeks ago for $1000. I loved the little truck and milage but the thing was a death trap in snow and I have a second kid coming in the next few days so 2 car seats is not an option. Last week I finaly bought my nicest work car yet. A 97 Pontiac Bonavile SE. I found it at the junk yard with minimal damage. The passanger side dore has a good size dent in it and thats it. Its an SE but it has all the SSEI options but the sport suspention and the three million way power seats. It has the seats just no adjustment to them. Leather, fancy radio, and best of all the Supercharger. This thing is fun to drive. Goes like a streek. Paid $800 for it and drove it out of the junk yard. Hopefully it gets desent milage. Time will tell.
