Truck Tool box question

Hi i want to get a truck tool box for my truck but i have the 3in dia. chrome tube bed rails and i wanted to know if they make a tool box that will sit on the small edge that is left over after the tubes are on. I know they make a tool box that just sits in the bed but i want one that you can rest on the side of the bed this way it wont take up much room on the floor of my bed.. thanks for your help

How much room do you have in front of your bed rails?

I can't recall ever seeing a full-size toolbox that only sits on the sides of the bed "half-way", though...

I can't help you on a toolbox that sits on the inner edge of the bed rail but I have seen some pretty neat looking rigs that had the chrome tube bed rails cut to look like they bolted directly to the vertical face of the tool box. Basically, they measured where the tool box would fit and then cut the rails to make room. Looked sharp. Good luck with whatever you decide.
