snapped on the way to the local fair ( daughter was heart broken ) drove it home with a piece of bailer twine out the window. that was fun ;D ;D anyway im gonna call the dealer 2morrow and see if i can get it fixed under the recall ( i have the paper somewhere ).... they should right ?? later guys, scott

 

Scott they will fix it under the recall I need to get mine done but I keep putting it off. My last experiance with the local dealer was not good.

 

It depends on what part broke the threaded rod on mine broke and I took it in for the recall but the only thing it covered was the 2 end swivile heads.

 

On our 94 we used wire and zip ties for a while. Called to see how much it was for everything and the dealer said the cable and all the fixin's were recall items.

nope they wouldnt fix it, said all that is covered is some linkage part. shelled out 64 bucks 4 a new cable. put it on in about 3 minutes very simple good luck guys, scott
