To answer some questions...

The spring discs will not be a direct interchange with the solid hubs for the simple reason of clearance. If we do this right, I will be able to modify your existing flywheels coupled with a new center plate and make it happen. I do not have pricing on that yet but I will do my best to keep the cost reasonable for people who choose to make the change.

This setup IS NOT to be coupled with the G56 dual mass flywheel. It will take the place of the DMF.

Pricing should be about the same as they were originally.

I would still recommend the 1 3/8" input shaft swap for the 5sp trucks.

Brad at Ponci's Diesel will have the clutch in hand today. Hopefully we will here some feedback by the end of the week, maybe sooner.

Peter, will this clutch still be as strong as its unsprung equal weight DD? and can it be used for sled pulling. i have a terrible idle clatter/clunking and would be looking to upgrade to the new style if it will still be reliable to pulling.

Good Job Peter!

That should be a lot better dual disk street clutch. What about us GM ZF6 freaks?

Yes I will be able to keep the plate loads up on the rebuilds only and you should not have a broblem with sled pulling. It may not be as quick of a responce but who knows yet.

I don't know how I missed this thread. Thanx to 53 ****** for mentioning it in another thread. This looks radical. Looks like a good way to keep a nice streetability for when the wife drives. My last truck had a full ceramic, and it was a no-no for the wife to drive. That has a negative impact on my beer drinking.
