My buddy had an extended cab Ford 6.9 when we were in college. It had a 5 speed and I loved that truck. It never had any starting problems in cold weather but he did have to replace the glow plugs once. He sold it to a guy about 5 years ago, we still see it at a local fair when the guy pulls his horses in to show.
