Why does this question keep coming up??

Every week somebody asks "does Ford own Cummins" or "when will Ford get the Cummins for the super duty?" good god!!!

When will the madness end!?!?!?!?!? FORD DOES NOT, AND NEVER DID OUTRIGHT OWN CUMMINS!!! And theyll NEVER get the mighty Cummins!!

(Im excluding the 650/750)

My fiance's father used to think that ford owns cummins but then i decided to print off that page from cummins FAQ page. i carry it around in the truck to shut ppl up.

i had one guy tell me that ford is putting cummins in their 2009 model and dodge is going to suck because they are all using mercedes disesel engines.

he than proceeded to tell me that in diesel engines spark plugs are replaced by glow plugs and that they ignite the fuel every combustion stroke. when i told him my truck didn't have glow plugs he insisted that i was idiot cause if it didn't my truck wouldn't run.
