The only people that would know the reason why was likely kept on a need to know basis within the business.

Just read 19 pages on cumminsforum. It's true, they banged up shop. Guys are trying to gather all the tunes from users and host them so anyone would have access to them.
Everything is still speculation as to why.

O I have been doing some reading on the web. Quadzilla stated it was offline and had discontinued all current products to "retool" for upcoming/New products.
I have never heard of a company to completely shut down just to come out with a new product. Stupid.. I'm willing to bet some pocket change they shut down all together..

The day I received my new xzt+ I wasn't able to get onto their website to register my module for the 1 year warranty.. I don't remember what day that was off the top of my head, last Wednesday I believe. I have not gotten a chance to install the new xzt+ yet, nor did I get a chance to update to an aggressive tune with the high idle which is the reason I bought the quad....
I understand going out of business, as I'm a business owner. Just think I would have handled it differently with my customers instead of leaving us guessing.

Do any of the vendors have a copy of the updated tunes???

Someone local to their shop drove by on Friday and confirmed they are no longer in existence. Building is empty.
I understand they should have gone about it differently, but my guess is the EPA went after them as well and if they were to leave the website up or continue support for existing products, they would still be liable for the $500,000 fine. Only way to avoid it is cease to exist 100%.
Vendors don't have the tunes. If you ask here, I'm sure someone with current tunes will e-mail them to you.

One of the members on CF has been trying to consolidate copies of tunes from everyone and has set up an FTP site where you can download copies if needed. Here is the info on the FTP site from CF:

I set up an FTP account with the files I have been sent so far.

you will need an FTP client like filezilla

you can get filezilla here: FileZilla - Client Download its a free download.

once filezilla is installed, open it up and enter in the following:

Host: ols18.com
Username: quadtunes
password: cummins

click quickconnect

once you are connected it will give a file listing on the right side.

if you want all tunes you can just right click the adrenaline folder and click download.

otherwise you can click into the folder and right click and download the specific file you want.

I have already scanned all files with malwarebytes and they are all free of virus's.

Please do not delete files from here or upload random crap.

If and when they get them all gathered up we should have a set of them put into a stickey here as well. The more places the better so that if one site goes down or gets corrupted all is not lost.

Sad day to see another American small business go under

I downloaded a new update for my XZT about a month ago. Had no issues with their site then.

So if they went down due to the EPA what is to keep the rest of the programmer companies from doing the same? They all make the same type of product.

Edge and H&S have already agreed to pay the $500,000 fine and only sell street legal tuners. Whether that generates enough business to stay in business is another story. Only time will tell.
