So I am guessing the days of electronic hot rodding are over? Street legal basically means if it didn't come from the factory that way it ain't legal now-a-days. So I guess that means bigger injectors are next on the hit list? I guess I should have spent more time on the modification forum. Nothing has been said at all about this on the regular forums.

Unless they hack everyone who's got the emissions files saved it won't be over, but they are trying.

The sad part is that it was not us old 2nd. gens that they were after. It was the 2008 and newer. So that kills it for us too.

Quad sold tuners for 2007-2009 as well, so that's how they got sucked into this mess, I guess.

All they have to do is operate out of another country! Today is the first time I realise that they are gone. And I have the Scout 1 digital gauge readout that needs a software upgrade as the boost reads 24psi max even though it is going higher. Was so lazy about getting the upgrade done and now no website to get the sw from.

Yeah, it was a gamble and a roll of the dice. Unfortunately I'm sitting on four garbage new Quad S2 duramax tuners that don't work when installed, and nothing I can do with them now but I guess throw them away.

Want the real kicker? There's some newer copyright/patent laws coming online, where if you "unlock" your cell phone, change the programming in your computer, or hack the code to modify your engine tuning, you could be violating copyright or patent law!!!

I have many of the tunes for the Quad X II (think that was the name) but am currently broke down on the road (not Quad related). As soon as I am back in Florida will upload all that I have to the above site. Sorry don't have them with me, thought I did.
