oil operating temp?

oil operating temp?

im thinking about ordering a guage for oil temp. 1. where do i hook it up and 2. what is the operating range of the cummins?

good place to hook up for oil temp is the 1/8"npt port on top of the filter pad... normal oil temp is close to water temp when unloaded.. under load, the oil can get much hotter [+50° - +75°]
