Not a truck, but...
Rolling coal 
Had my first long journey, about 400 miles, with my BMW 320d (136 hp and about 230 lb torque, stock) and a 1500 pound trailer (car is rated for 3000 pound) today, what a ride
. So many moments when I just sat in the car and giggled like a small child. No smog stuff on it, shifting back to 4th gear (car only has 5 gears), accelerating and there it was, just beautiful how the black stuff shoots out of the tailpipe. Now I know why you guys like it 
Well, it was not like blacking out an intersection, but I had a blast!
Now I need a bigger load

PS: averaged 35 mpg with the load and about 40 unloaded (but I was driving 100+ mph whenever possible)

I love the BMW diesel to bad they only bring the big once here to Canada 335d and they are a bit spendy here too.
The little BMW cost around the same as the 3500 Cassis Cab I have.
I had a 80' 320 back in germany 3 gear almost red line and than take the foot of the gas made for a nice blue cloud of oil smoke to annoy those that followed too close.
The good old days where you still with a socket set and a few screwdrivers fix your own car.
Keep in mind the smaller the MPG number is the bigger the black cloud will get.
