Intercooler,

Help us a bit. List the IDEAL specs you most want in a truck (IE. 4wd, club-cab, auto, 24V) etc. Then we can more accurately help you find that IDEAL vechile.

I will be honest and real here. My only needs are within 10-12k in cost and not high mileage. Other than that everything else is just wants.

That's a lot easier, then. I'll look around a bit, I know of a dealer about 60 miles or so from me that keeps about a dozen of these rigs at all times. If I can find thier website, I'll put a link on for it. Most people tend to be quite specific, it's nice that you're flexible! Have a good day!

Here's a few I found. First a '98 reg cab 2wd 5-speed (don't know 12 or 24V). Has 69k on it! Asking 13,900, in Wisconsin:

And a few from Autoland outlets:

Thier main website:

A few others,

Bit cheaper one:

$7500:

So sorry for the annoying post. Hope this helps out a bit

Like I said, I'm pretty sure that Wannadiesel bought his in Texas and drove it back to Pennsylvania. Whether it's too far or not depends on whether it's the right truck and the right price or not.

I paid just under $5K for mine about 3 years ago which was about $1500 below going price at the time.

Help us out a bit more. What are your "wants" so we know what to look for? You've seen our opinions on what is "high mileage". What mileage are you wanting to stay under? Years/body styles that you prefer?

I want it all and for cheap I don't mind a field trip but two days drive from MD is my limit. If it is over 1500 miles then that rules them out. WA is too far!
