new Powerservice lube formulation?

Just picked up a bottle of Powerservice DieselKleen at Wally World. Noticed a big blurb on the front about a "new" formulation that enhances the lubricity of low-sulfur fuel. Seemed to indicate a trademarked additive package. Wasn't on the older bottles.

Does anyone know if this is a new & better lubrication additive, or just another advert gimmick? Any details? (I've got the infamous VP44 with the "give-it-awhile-and-it-will-gall" rotor.)

naw, that's the old bottle, photo off the Powerservice site. New one has a little graphic on the bottom front, with a "new and improved" lubricity statement.

I use the DieselKleen in the summer because it's cheaper and gives a bigger cetane boost.

I just bought some yesterday at wallyworld. After reading your post I checked the bottle, nothing about new and improved but.... just above the black bar that says"treats 100 gallons" it says "with SLICKDIESEL For Maximum Fuel Lubrication". I don't remember that being there before.

If it IS 'New and Improved', what was it before? 'Old and Lousy'?

SLICKDIESEL for maximum fuel lubrication -- that's the trademarked statement I've been trying to remember, and I've been too lazy to pull the bottle out of the box in the bed of my truck.

Also says new formulation for low sulfur fuels or somesuch. Again, just wondered if Powerservice had reformulated the stuff, or if it was an advert gimmick.
