Need Help with personalized license plate

I'd like 1K FTLB 
but I'll probably use my sign-on if people can figure out a 4 is 1337 5pe4k for an A =\ RCBURNR?
VA dmv's webpage lets you check to see if they're taken- maybe Pa has the same.

What are you guys having to pay to get a personalized plate in your state? I was looking into getting one for my truck and Texas wants $40. I don't really have a problem with that as a one time fee, but they want $40 EVERY YEAR!!!
I just think they shouldn't charge the fee again once you have the plate assigned to you and your vehicle. I think i'll pass for now.
