Minor problems, all probably self induced. (ball joints, fuel pump...) that's about all the bad stuff.

Love her, great truck. Probably about 67k, almost 5 years old.

I have had a few small things, all of which were covered under warranty. So far I love her. Nothing really too upsetting. Although I read all these posts about lift pumps and ball joints and all this that seem to go out very early it does have me concerned. I am not a diesel mechanic so I pray that I don't have to deal with any of this stuff!

167,000 miles and no problems that I didn't cause (asploded the TQ). Only bad thing about the truck is the funny smell on hot days from the food wrappers that got blown behind the driver's seat. I wish it tilted forward like the passenger seat, it'd be easier to clean out.

i've had my 5500 for over a year, love the truck, problem free.

recommend rams every chance i have. of course i've been doing that since my first dodge truck purchased new in 1972. several dodge trucks since then always got my moneys worth. gas or diesel they have always out performed the chevys and ferds

Mine has only left me stranded once, right after i bought it.... I wish someone would of told me that 1/2 tank of fuel on the gauge actually ment EMPTY!!! But the dealer took care of me and fixed it up right... Since than no major problems other than what has been my fault.. Like running 40+ PSI on a stock turbo...

But i really do love my truck, im not scared to hook up to loads I have been scared of before... It runs better the harder I'm working it!!

Love my truck, but know it's weakness (lift pumps). It is a strong truck, and as has been said will move a heck of a load down the road.
