My next diesel - 74.3 mpg!
That is impressive! I'd like to see the downfalls of it, maintenance and general flaws and whatnot. Right now my jetta TDI has tapped almost 60mpg, driving very conservatively on the highway, 45 normally with some a/c and a leadfoot. I guess I can't complain because it is a relatively simple design and is pretty easy to work on (less timing belt), but that little car could be killer.

In all seriousness, I think quite a lot about that on my 50 mpg motorcycle. That's what a helmit & Joe Rocket gear is for---and I pray that people actually see me.

This little car is a new design as of '07, and it's probably on par with other cars it's size in the UK. Trouble is, over here we're addicted to 5500lb, 14 mpg SUV's and cell phones. When you're hit be one of those, even my 6800 lb truck and 3150 lb accord is going to feel it...painfully.
If you want to learn more of it try googleing "what car - uk" and they should have all the details.
