i was wondering if anybody could help me here. My grandpa has a 1949 ford f6. We are in the process of restoring it and we had the idea of replacing the flathead v8 with a 12 valve all mechanical cummins with a manual transmission. We have been looking for months and haven't found anything. i dont know if its what im searching or what, but i am asking if anybody knows any sites where you can find them or if you know of any for sale.

All 12v are mechanical. 89-98. 89-93 have a VE pump and the 94-early 98 have a P7100 inline pump

Browse the classifieds here, CompD, Cumminsforum, 1stgen.org,4btswaps and other sites like this and you should be able to score one fairly easy

Get one with a P7100 inline pump, 215 hp. The P7100 came in different hp ratings, 215 being the highest.
