I'd be in a GM. I love my Dodge, but mostly for the Cummins and solid front axle. That all changes if the question involves the new '07 body on the GM's. I'd stay in the Dodge if that's a factor.

I would go with GM. Just the little things like the air conditioning and the
fit and feel of the interior. That's what would get my vote. But being a first time Dodge owner, it's definitely growing on me and I do love the engine

I would go with Chevy unless the new 68RFE is really good.

Definately DODGE!

I move over to the oil from a 1500, had little or no knowlege of diesel - except that I knew that I wanted one. Now I have it in my favorite brand of truck.
Thanks to forums like this I have a better knowlege of diesel, and am able to look after and modify my truck in a way that will not adversely effect it.

That was a tough question. I was brought up on Fords, don't know that anyone in the family has ever owned anything else. Uncles got a 57' bird I drooled over...well a couple feet away!! So this is my absolute first Dodge product and I have to say I love how the truck looks, the Cummins, the trans and everything else about it. I'm hooked, just waiting to pay off this one and the new 6.7 to come out so after 4 years when mine is paid for I can run the wife out and buy a 4 door with the 6.7!!

Yes it rides rough.....but what part of truck are we not understanding?? I have to say, sitting in my truck for a long drive is 100 times more comfortable than riding in that F550 I run at work! Went 200 miles friday and was kissing the ground when I got home, did'nt even want to sit down my keester hurt so much!!

I have always liked the look

of the 92-97 F250 supercab 4x4s. and i do like the looks of the newer trucks 03-05 that is... Ford has a super tough truck, ( i had a 94) that has a good suspension, interior room and everything I like, BUT its just not up to par enginewise, so id like to say id go with a cummins ford if i could,

Heck was i super rich id buy my old ford back and swap my drivetrain into it, somehow make those flipouts fit as well

RIck

Thumbs up

I would still buy the Dodge. Probably HEMI powered. Wouldn't even look at the others.

From: Well I thought I lived in America, but its looking more like france every day.
My last truck was ferd and it wasnt to bad. It was not a diesel so i cant compare that. I really like the dodge fit and feel interior. But I have looked under the hood of a diesel ferd and chev and im glad I own my dodge I-6. I dont like chev and ford body styles. The chev is a low rider and the ferd looks like a box. I drive a chev work truck and not really impressed with it. its in the shop all the time for repair, lots of gagets on that thing. just give me the basic stuff like my dodge and im happy. I bought my truck to TOW my stuff. i dont need it to tell me when to change my oil.
