If you want a flashy chopper then call Eddie Trotta in Florida. Atleast you'll get a bike that will look as high end as its price. Me personaly if I had endless cash and wanted a bike I would be lookin at Roland Sands or Jesse Rooke simply for the fact that they engineer the bike from the ground up not just assemble parts.

Thats the point I trying to make OCC even thought they are making some of their own stuff only because they have the $$$$ to buy a CNC and flojet doesn't mean they do it good or have the experience of alot of other builders. They don't build bikes they assemble and sometimes modify parts. I would go to a guy with the ability to take a flat piece of sheet metal and turn it into a gas tank and two fenders. And a guy that can take a 20 foot piece of steel and turn it into a frame. Those guys build bikes. Thats why OCC has never been invited to do those biker build off shows on the network that made them famous. If it wasnt for all the drama on the show noone would know who they were. Thats why the milwaukee iron guys didn't last "southern steel"? I think it was called. Those guys can build bikes but aren't good on TV because they acted like humans.

i might take some flack for this but i really like Jesse James' bikes. i have seen him take i flat piece of metal and turn it into a tank or fenders or what ever he wants. i have seen some of his bkes in person and they have been some of the nicest bikes i have ever seen.

I'm not in the biker underground but its widely knowen that OCC is more of an assembly plant then a high end customs.

What they consider custom is their customers flipping through catalouge's and what not to pick out your "custom parts" and then go over what color you want and something personal they will weld it on and then the ship it out for finishes and then they assembleing to make it and charge you $125K

How can you expect high end quality from a corperation and busy and as large as OCC. Your just another name and phone number on their calender.

We all know how peticular you are with customizing and how you research everything and ask for opions that it surprise's us that you want a custom OCC bike. Maybe you dont know that their a joke in the community......Like buying a complete turn key Banks PSD. [roll]


Just make sure you do your homework before you commit to another TV reality show that customizes rich peoples stuff

I definitely appreciate the heads up; I certainly was unaware of their reputation and definitely like to do my homework before getting into such an expensive undertaking! I will look up the names of the places you mentioned; I look forward to seeing their stuff!! If they have any websites you know of, I would be greatly appreciative!

Here is another P-shop. Emily said she likes it more as a 6x6 so here is the latest rendition. AGAIN, if anyone has actualy P-Shop skills please let me know!...Because I have none! Fortunately, a company I found (Bentz Transport) uses SolidWorks which is a 3d Cad program so they could give me an actual drawing before I decided on it.

why not just buy a semi truck? what is with everyone wanting to have a "pickup truck" that is expected to perform like a semi truck. i think the CXTs are stupid looking, as are the f650s and such with the stupid truck beds on them. they strike me as a flashy toy for a guy going through a midlife crisis. [yuk]

A semi truck does me no good and won't get you thruogh snow; not to mention, the way I would do it, it would be about 15 feet too long.
