My memory is pretty dusty, but I do believe there is a built in engine oil cooler in the radiator.
Perhaps its a leak in the radiator allowing the fluids to mix.
However, those engines are known to have weak head gaskets.
Although, if it makes you feel any better, I had 405,000 miles on my 6.2 and never had internal engine trouble at all.
Rich.

ya know i myself have had probably a dozen 6.2 and 6.5's and have yet to pull a head.and yes the oil cooler is routed into the radiator.that might be a good place to start lines will go up to the rad on the drivers side then go across the radiator right in front of the fan and into the pass side.

Thanks guys, This was my son's truck that I gave to him after he graduated from university and he gave it back a few years later. I painted it and sold it to a friend of a friend a couple years ago, and now it has oil showing up in the coolant.

I believe it was the 5.7 that needed head gaskets every 40,000 miles wether you like it or not. The 6.2 has 5 head bolts around each cylinder and is almost bullet proof in that area, unless you run them a 95% for a long duration. They will blow one than. Best way to tell if its a Head Gasket is to look in the coolant recovery bottle. If its bubbling, you got a bad HG.
