Found a good repair shop in AK!
Just passing it on for any of the 907 peeps.
S&P Auto in Eagle River is top notch. This coming from someone who is always skeptical of repair shops and does 90% of my own work on vehicles.
1st experience, when I thought my injectors were going bad, took it to them to test. They confirmed 2 injectors going bad, only charged my a nominal diagnostic fee. Less then 1 hr of their std rate. No pressure from them for them to do the work and actually suggested if I had them replace the injectors that I should buy the parts myself so that I got what I wanted and that it would be more economical than them ordering the pArts.
Ended up doing the injectors myself.
Fast forward 8 months, clutch went out right before the moving company was scheduled to pack up our house and my tools.
Took it to them. Same deal with parts. They diagnosed it and then had me get the parts rather than try to sell me some crap.
Timely work, fair prices, good communication.
I think anytime someone finds a good shop they should pass it on because there are so many shops that suck. So if you're in the Anchorage area and need a mech shop, these guys are top notch!
