Fass replacement filter question
I just wonder if anybody with the FASS system is using donaldson filters instead of the fleetguard for the fuel filter. I can get donaldson locally and usually have to order the fleetguards or buy them by the case.
just wondering thanks 6wheeler |
If you can find a number to cross to any of our 150 Series FASS units filters.....go for it. Just be sure of the micron rating.
The 95 Series FASS fuel filter cant be crosses over. The filters for thoes units are made just for us by Fleetguard. I hear that the water sep. can be crossed though. BUT I don't have a number for it other than our in-house number. |
Thanks Dan, I found a cross to a 5micron and 25micron, just looking for a 10.
I will probley go with the 5 since mind is about ready to change. |
You are better off with the five micron anyway. Baldwin also makes filters for it that you can cross.

The right one is any filter that fits and is 10 or lower, the lower the better.

Cool, guess I need to go on there and order one. Do you drain the water separator on any periodic basis?
